Jewels that have their origins in the Neolithic and still retain a special charm today
Studies on ancient civilizations trace the use of necklaces back to the Neolithic, as funeral equipment for the dead; the findings of the Egyptian period amaze for the use of precious materials, precious stones and for the often unusual shape that make the necklaces solemn symbols associated with the Pharaohs. Throughout history, they have accompanied sacred, formal and everyday moments and in the figurative arts they are often the focus of many important portraits.
I have always thought of necklaces and pendants as "talking objects" that tell our personality and our mood. They underline our style.
A necklace should not be chosen at random as a simple detail to match but above all, over time, it should also be worn following the changes in our body : a collar is beautiful on a slender and supple neck while a "scarf" of stones can enhance the décolleté without showing the signs of aging or a slightly more rounded face.
This is why I like to recommend the right length, the color of the stones.
All my necklaces can be requested in the preferred length that best suits your style
- Collar , with a length between 35 and 38 cm, can be composed of one or more threads that are placed in the central part of the neck. It is a very elegant model and enhances the necklines of elegant dresses that leave the shoulders uncovered.
Choker , with a length between 39 and 42 cm, is positioned at the base of the neck, is suitable for all necklines and for both an evening dress and a more informal look.
Princess , with a length between 45 and 50 cm, adapts to any neckline and any type of clothing, informal during the day or elegant, as a great classic. It can also be worn on a pullover or a crewneck sweater.
- Matinée with a length between 55 and 60 cm), half-length necklace, it is perfect when worn with the Chanel suit or with a long dress. It can also be combined with a crewneck or turtleneck sweater, it is appropriate for formal and non-formal occasions.
- Opera, with a length of about 65 cm, perfect for elegant evenings, is recommended for those who are not very tall because it slims and tapers the figure.
- Sautoir, with a length of about 90 cm, is wonderful when worn in a single thread or knotted but it is possible to twist it twice around the neck.
- Lariat, with a length of about 120 cm, can be worn single stranded, knotted or twisted 2, 3 or more times around the neck, depending on the length. Elegant and sensual, it adapts to every body size.
